of France, situated in a scenic and secluded area not far
from the gorges of the river Viaur.

The theme for the retreats are as follows: Five Animal Alchemy for the first week and Five Element Detox with Circle Walking for the second week. There is a full programme starting with early morning practice
and at regular intervals throughout the day. The week will
include a day of silence and periods of directed contemplation.
The venue will provide a breakfast, cooked lunch and light
evening meal. The food is designed to complement the nature
of the retreat and will include a 24 hours fast. Each week long retreat can be attended individually or both weeks attended as a whole depending on availability. The first evening of each retreat on 21 & 29 July will be an introduction to the week’s program, some practice and a light evening meal.

Chi
Kung is an ancient Chinese form of movement exercise that
promotes the flow of Chi (vital energy) through the body.
It translates as energy work in English and comprises exercises for stretching and mobilising
the body and joints, breathing techniques, slow movement exercises,
static postures, special walking methods and meditation.
Chi
is the bodys vital energy which Chi Kung builds up to
establish a physiological and psychological harmony.
Most of the theory behind Chi Kung is common to Chinese Medicine
with which it has a traditional link. Chi Kung is also associated with Taoist and Buddhist philosophies
and practices.
The first week of the retreat will be led by Ged Sumner and the second week by Thalbert Allen.
